GO System Course Design

The GO System includes interesting, relevant and memorable ideas.
Stand-Alone Learning Modules. The course is divided into easily digestable learning segments. Each segment is a stand-alone learning module that covers one main idea specifically related to the overall course objective of becoming more focused, organized and productive. The modules can be delivered individually in one-on-one coaching sessions or collectively as a half-day training course.

Consistent Delivery Format. The delivery format for each segment includes: review the main idea or core concept of the segment; deliver the segment content in a memorable way by providing meaning, context and emotion; summarize/reinforce the core concept of the segment; provide specific strategies for implementing any ideas presented in the segment. These steps are clearly defined for each segment during the certification training.

Participant Involvement. The course design calls for participants to hear things, see things and do things. As a trainer, you will take care of the “hear things” goal. Use of the participant workbook will help you accomplish the “see things” and “do things” goals.

Participant Workbook. All the core concepts of the GO System are documented in a participant workbook. The workbook also serves to minimize student note taking and maximize listening and concentration time during the review of the material.
In its simplest form, training is an event designed to persuade others. Aristotle, a noted authority on the process of persuasion, identified three modes of persuasion:
Pathos – appeal based on emotion
Logos – appeal based on logic
Ethos – appeal based on the authority, integrity, and qualifications of a presenter
Each core concept of the GO System is supported with a combination of emotion, logic and authority. These proven methods of persuasion are built into the design of the GO System course.
